well…i guess its too late for me -__-
i drilled a hole in my roof and all this weird stuff just fell out like snow. and there particles were flying around everywhere, they stayed in the air for ages, i tried not to breath but i guess i was breathing as i was drilling so…
i hope it wasnt asbestos….
it is like the russian roulette, You may also outlive it.
They even say that if the fiber was huge enough and didn’t attach to the soft tissue of your lungs the lung sistem may remove it and you’r safe.
But neverless, avoid asbestos.
here many people worked with asbestos, (belgium land of asbestos) uncluding me gope i get to be 75 over 43 years from now.
Most houses here have asbestos roofs. Luckily I live in a clay roof house
@1nazchan i have cut fibroboard before, from a construction building before 1984 after that date, absestos was not used in production, but the one i was cutting did, i mean we will just have to wait 30 years to see what happens right?
If scar tissue forms in the lungs, I imagine you’d start getting gradually building chest pains until you die.
I have a resperator designed for working in asbestos enviorments.
Really, not all asbestos is equal. First, it must be friable. Most asbo tile releases such small amounts (upon removal) that you would find high fiber counts in a major downtown street. It is the small, respirable fibers that have the potential to reach deep lung tissue. Obviously, it helps to know your shit if you are in the renovation biz. Personally, I am in the business of removing asbo, as well as structural demo. I pretty much wear a respirator and poopy suit 8-12 hrs of the day.
nice video
It is perilous! Asbestos can’t escape the lungs once inhaled!
